Summary:

A terrible hosting company not recommended for business use

I have used Fasthosts for around 5 years now for 8 websites. I have had problem with at least 1 of my sites every month for the last 2 years from "Internal 500 errors" to the support team deleting a whole website for no reason.
The last mistake they made was the final straw. It cost me thousands in man hours to replace my company website and they gave me no explanation, apology or compensation. The did offer me 2 months free hosting (by email, no call back) which I found as an insult because I no longer had a website to host on it.
If you plan on using Wordpress then be prepared for many frustrating calls to the technical support site as I received constant "Internal 500 errors" on every site that I made with Wordpress.

Some hosting companies I have tried in the past promise all sorts of guarantees and never stick to them. The first time I needed the FastHosts technical service they were with me in an instant, and not only that, they actually knew what to do! I have a number of websites and, as a result, use a number of different hosts but will shortly be moving all my business to this well run and very efficient service with superb features and an easy to use set up procedure – I can recommend FastHosts to anyone who needs a great service that is a no nonsense all round deal.

Fasthosts have been my hosting provider for a couple of years now and I really thought it was time to thank them in some way for the job they have done. I’m no stranger to web hosting and have experience of a number of well known companies, but this one bats them all in every way. In particular, the value for money and superb technical back up is something that cannot – in my opinion – be matched, and the simple to use set up system is a doddle for even the novice. It’s a great deal – check it out if you’re looking for a safe place to host your websites.

If you don't need a lot of storage space for your website, than FastHost would be a good website for you. Their support team is reliable and pretty prompt. I've used them now for almost one year and will continue using their service.
