Overview:
iPage are certainly not new to web hosting, they have been around for over 5 years but they have only just made their way into the top 10. Plans start at $5.25 per month and with that you can expect a user-friendly interface packed with website templates, site builders and free scripts.

Summary:
iPage offer a tempting package to the more basic user, more advanced users may struggle with the H-Sphere control panel interface especially if they are used to cPanel which most webmasters use to build and manager their website these days. This aside the tools and services offered inside the control panel do prove valuable, building webpages with their website builder is simple point and click editing and iPage also offer a large library of free scripts for more complicated sites like blogs and photo galleries.  Read The Rest Of This Review

I had been researching web hosting companies for weeks and kept coming across iPage. They were ranked well on review sites and I couldn't find any negative reviews about them, so I figured I would give them a shot. I am glad I did. It has bee the best thing i have done. They are so easy to use. Everything is 1-2-3 !!

Does it even exist?

I applied for web hosting with ipage and paid upfront. Received username and password via email and went to login to account and got error message saying it can take upto 10 mins to create an account. Despite sending 5 emails and using their 'Live-chat' twice, two days later I still couldn't login. Don't even know if it exists or if it a scam... customer service is attrocious, and I can't vouch for their hosting service. If it is as reliable as their process for applying for a hosting account, I wouldn't trust them as far as I could kick them! I guess it all goes to show, "You get what you pay for" which in this case was very little! Needless to say I'm getting a refund and will go elsewhere!

I chose iPage based on positive reviews, but now I suspect a payoff, especially since the negative review I attempted to post minutes ago never appeared. This is my first experience with web hosting and second with site building. I used the basic Cm4All, which is user friendly but extremely limited. When I have called with questions, the staff are very friendly but they admit they don't know much about Cm4all and have tried to get me to switch to a different program. I have made changes to my page repeatedly that are not saved. I can't build a distribution list, and the guestbook merely sends an email. They should not offer site building software that is so full of glitches if they want satisfied customers!

If your only concern is friendly tech support, then iPage may win. If, however, you want to build a functioning site without wasting hours on malfunctioning software, look elsewhere! I definitely will when constructing future sites.

I have made changes to my page repeatedly that are not saved. The tech had to go in on the back end and reset something, blaming the software.
