iPage Review : ipage.com

I put off having a website for as long as I could. I started my small business selling refurbished furniture several years ago out of my hobby and love of antiques. I thought a website would be time consuming, and I got all of my clients from word of mouth, so I didn't see the point. However, my son finally talked me into it and with his help I set up a simple site in about an hour with pictures, descriptions and contact information. I've now had 2 customers find me through the site and numerous other inquiries. The site has also saved me time because I put the answers to the most common questions on the site, so I don't have to rehash it over and over. I wish I'd have done this a while back, but then again now I have more work than I can keep up with!

I got my new site with iPage all set up within a few hours. Then over the months I updated it here and there. Then, one day when I went in to make a simple change (as I'm not very tech savvy), I ended up somehow deleting all of my files! It was a nightmare. After about an hour of freaking out and trying to recover the files with no luck, I finally called customer service. They were able to get me back up and running within minutes~they really saved the day!!

I need to switch hosting services because my last web host provider was awful, however I wasn't looking forward to after past switches had been extremely problematic. Luckily a friend in the industry recommended iPage. I was happy with the price and thought, let's give it a try. I never look back now. Since the switch, my site has been running smoothly and I'm loving the extra email storage. Great deal!
