Yahoo are better known for their search engine technology and email accounts but they also offer small business web hosting solutions too.

A bonus of going with Yahoo is that they give all their hosting customers bonus PPC advertising credits. Yahoo hosting plans now come with unlimited transfer and space as they have followed their competition to avoid being left behind.
Summary:
As you would expect Yahoo does offer a great web hosting solution, and it's hard to fault their control panel and reliability. Overall you are paying a premium price for Yahoo and we think this is largely due to their brand rather than the advanced features, but with that being said we still recommend yahoo as a top web host, just value for money lets them down. Many people choose Yahoo! because of the name: it’s one of the biggest in the industry, a colossus that won’t go away, yet for a long time I refused to use them for hosting, believing that their prices – a little more than the norm – were unjustified and that I would pay for the name only. How wrong I was; this is the premier hosting service in the business, one that is simple, slick and well designed and as reliable as it is possible to be, and I am quite happy to pay a couple of dollars a month extra for the peace of mind that it brings.

Hello, I have to say im really very happy with my yahoo hosting! I already have an email account with them so I thought I'd try their hosting as I was looking! Even though there were cheaper options, I don't think you can beat the well known brands!

I make no bones about the fact I’m one of those people who likes to rely on well known brands; that’s why Yahoo was my hosting company of choice. Far from the cheapest in the field but offering a great package, I opted for security in name and numbers, and I’m very pleased I did. You can choose to save a few dollars a month if you wish but I would seriously suggest you look closely at what you’re getting; at least Yahoo delivers on its promises – something that cannot be said for all in the field.

Yahoo has been a lot fun to work with now that I'm creating a new website. Their site designer is extremely easy to work with. They offer a lot of advanced scripting and database tools that I took advantage of as well. I am a little computer savvy though, so this may not come as easy for anyone else but I do know that my friend, no experience building a site, recently opened an account with Yahoo and had no real big difficulties learning the process.
